We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) EIN #27-0198576, public benefit corporation and are not organized for the private gain of any individual. At IMUA Athletic Foundation, we empower student-athletes of all levels to achieve their full potential by promoting physical, mental, and emotional well-being. We believe that a complete student-athlete is one who not only excels on the field or court but also in the classroom and in their local community. Our student-community-focused approach fosters a culture of excellence, sportsmanship, and respect, where student-athletes develop skills that transcend sports and prepare them for lifelong success.
We provide a holistic approach to student-athlete development by offering mental training, academic support, social (bully) education, physical fitness, and nutritional knowledge. Our mental training program focuses on developing the student-athlete's mindset and confidence, preparing them to face challenges both on and off the field. Our academic support program ensures that student-athletes excel in their studies and are well-prepared for life beyond sports. We also provide education on social issues such as bullying and promote a safe and inclusive environment for all student-athletes. Our physical fitness program helps student-athletes develop the necessary skills and conditioning to compete at their best, while our nutritional education ensures that they have the knowledge and habits to fuel their bodies for optimal performance.
Through our fundraising efforts, we provide athletic and academic scholarships for student-athletes. We also strive to create a positive impact on the community by promoting health, education, and social responsibility, and by providing opportunities for underprivileged youth to participate in sports. We believe that by developing complete student-athletes who are committed to contributing to their local community, we can help elevate society as a whole.
